Ask a Question

Getting in touch with us is straightforward. Whether you’re evaluating roofing options for a project, researching what standards apply to your contractor, or looking for clarity on how our recommendations work—just reach out. We’re here to help you find the information you need, not to sell you anything.

You can send us a question through the form below, or find us through the contact details in our footer. Most inquiries receive a response within 24 hours.

What We Do Not Do

We don’t sell roofing services, materials, or labor. We’re not a contractor, and we won’t quote you a price or book a site visit. We also don’t accept payment to recommend anyone—our listings reflect what we’ve actually researched, not who paid the most. If a question points toward a contractor recommendation, we’ll refer you to our directory with criteria to help you choose well, but the decision is entirely yours.

Before You Write

A few things we can help with most effectively:

The Question What to Include What Happens Next
Is this material right for my climate? Your region or ZIP code, and the roof pitch or system type you’re considering We send you the relevant durability and performance standards that apply, plus any regional considerations you should know about
How do I evaluate a contractor’s credentials? What credentials you’re seeing claimed, and what matters most to you (insurance, licensing, years in business, etc.) We explain which credentials are standardized and verifiable, and which are marketing
What does this specification actually mean? The term or specification from a bid or product sheet that confused you We explain it in plain language and point you to the standard it refers to
How do I know this bid is fair? The scope of work and the key materials or methods in the bid We outline how to verify the bid against standards and what questions to ask next

If your question falls outside what we cover, we’ll let you know honestly. Sometimes the best answer is a referral to a licensed professional in your area who can assess your specific situation.
